So the second brew is in an ice bath. Here's the limitations on stovetop brewing.
The pot holds a lot of liquid. The new electric stoves have an electric eye and with too much liquid, the "governer" doesn't let it get overheated.
I had to split the wort in two pots, got it to a boil and put them back together for the boil. Not fun, but worked ok. Know better next time.
Bought two bags of ice this time. Hopefully it will go faster.
Smells great. Different hops than yesterday and you can smell it.
