Forgot to add the points for adjustment to 60 degrees. I was disappointed that the Original Gravity fell short. It was 1.049. The wort was around 80 degrees. That adds between 2 and 3 points. So that brings it to a generous 1.052. That means I hit the expected OG. I feel better now.
AND....I just checked the "purculator". The airlock is really purking now...
